No WiFi, even though it was promiced on the Booked.net. Very dissapointing, because we really needed it and were specifically looking for a hotel that had WiFI...
good location, has many restaurant, cafe bar around it
The wifi is really really poor, it has no signal in the room, so i tried in the ground floor and you only can get signal when you stand really close to the reception, that's annoying, especially for long days stay without wifi!
The Hotel Royal Opera was perfect for our stay located near the Opera was very convenient for shopping and dining as well as close to alot of the main attractions Paris has to offer. The staff were very courteous and staff on the desk could speak english as well as French which was very handy.
Hotel is basic but clean and very good located.
very good location, the room is clean and comfortable, will recommend it to my friends
Quick check in, very central, good room and price
Location was excellent, staff also. The room was ideal for the weekend, and in good condition.
Location was excellent as it provided quick access to Metro and RER. Convenient to get to most places of interest.Free internet, which works well once you leave the windows open.
Service at the front desk can be improved. We experienced significant differences in service level depending on the staff in attendance. Whilst staying there, only one of the staff was delightfully helpful while the other 2 were ignorant on our queries and claim they "don't know" - even on information regarding opening times for attractions or estimated travel time and taxi fares. They made no effort to check even though they had easy access to the PC on the front desk. The hotel room did not have air conditioning and can get a bit uncomfoartable as the weather was hot whilst we were there. There's an electrical fan in the room which provided some relief.
Central mid price hotel Well, you do have to adjust to Paris prices. Then: The hotel is centrally located in a quiet side street behind the Madelaine. Reception was efficient. I had single occupancy of a double room. Fair-sized, bit faded. Fridge (empty). Slept OK Small shower-room. Sachets of shower gel/shampoo. Shower temperature variable. Clean. Breakfast room a bit like a small cafeteria, bright, on ground floor overlooking street. Tray of 4 pastries (toast, baguette, croissant, pain chocolat, joghurt, orange juice, tea/coffee). Friendly service (on one day). So, a fairly basic hotel in a good central location
It is an ideal location for shopping and also sight-seeing. Many places of interest can be reached either walking or by metro line (located nearly 100m from the hotel). It is very convenient. Staff speak good English and they are very helpful when asking for location, restaurant or other information.
The lift is very small. Those people staying at 6th floor has to walk up 1 floor because the lift service only reach at 5th floor.
The staff were very helpful and spoke English which was very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the metro and walking distance to the champs elysees.
The central location was great. The Room (35) was a decent size with clean bathroom and fantastic shower - the hairdryer didnt work though!
I would have liked if the Hotel had a restaurant or the offer of evening meals. The reception area needs to be upgraded but the actual room was fine.
It was a good stay it has very good location beside the champs elesee st n infront of madline museum as you have a metro stn very near
The location of this hotel is great, few minutes far from the Madeleine and very close to Place de la Concorde. The room are very clean, the breakfast is very good and cheap comparing to the brasserie's one.
The rooms are quite small and the bathroom too but both of them are very clean and well furnished.
Nothing at all. Only the location
